Janet Theresa (Pavlak) Roblyer, 75, of Plainwell, died Saturday, Sept. 12, at home.

Born August 31, 1945, in Allegan, she was the daughter of the late Emil and Julia (Arbanas) Pavlak. Janet married Leon Roblyer on June 30, 1961. They were blessed with 38 years of marriage and four sons prior to his death in 1999.

Janet enjoyed helping Leon on the farm and with their pigs. She had worked for TruHeat in Allegan for several years as well as Weick’s Department Store and Russo’s in Hopkins. In her spare time, Janet loved to challenge herself by putting together puzzles. She also was very talented with needlework and often shared her knit caps and crocheted doilies with friends and family.

Janet is survived by her sons, Randy (Dawn) Roblyer, Jamie (Sheila) Roblyer, Eddie Roblyer and Adam (Hollie) Roblyer; her siblings, Bill (Laura) Pavlak, Terri Dimock, Mike (C. Lee) Pavlak and Scott (Chris) Pavlak; sixteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Pat Wellington, Dennis Pavlak, Julianne Brenner, Tom Pavlak and Randy Pavlak.

In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Janet will be laid to rest in Maplewood Cemetery, Hopkins Township, at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept.25. The family will receive friends at noon at Hopkins Community Church, where a luncheon will follow.
