5324353_300x300_1Florence Vander Ploeg, age 88, of Hopkins Township, died Oct. 14.
Florence is survived by her children: Bob (Kay) Vander Ploeg, Pat (Seymour) De Haan, Daryl (Shirley) Vander Ploeg, Kathy Schipper, Kevin Vander Ploeg; her daughter-in-law Judy Vander Ploeg; her grandchildren: Connie, Corey (Stephanie), Keith (Maggie), Kelly (Rosco), Dan, Sandra, Ben (Sara), Nick (Alisha), Josh (Alyson), Chrissy, Jennifer, Ashley (Andy); her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; her brother Jay (Wilma) Kraima and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Vander Ploeg, her son Rodney Vander Ploeg, her grandson Mike; and her daughter-in-law Barb Vander Ploeg.  Friends may visit with her family from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services, Wayland. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 19 at Wayland Christian Reformed Church. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
