Robert L. Roelofs, age 88, of Wayland, died Monday, Aug. 3.

Bob retired from Star Truck Rentals Company, and from Weller Truck Company. He was a founding member of the American Truck Historical Society – West Michigan Chapter.

He survived by his son, Terry (Karen) Roelofs; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

His wife, Patricia, preceded him in death.

The family will greet visitors from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, at the Stroo Funeral Home, 1095 68th St., Cutlerville, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 10. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Leighton United Methodist Church or Caledonia American Legion Post 305.
