Service planned Feb. 28 for Troy Brendemihl

Troy David Brendemihl, age 51, died Friday, Feb. 6.

Troy had a caring and kind heart for others – he loved preparing and cooking meals for his friends, family and those in need. He was an avid supporter of veterans and spent much of his time volunteering at various organizations. He also loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, golfing and camping.

Troy was a member of the NCO Club, Moose Lodge, and Creston VFW 3023. Born and raised in Wisconsin, he was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.

Troy is survived by his father, August Brendemihl; significant other, Janice Miedema; siblings Karie (Scott) Sipkema, Dawn (Joe) Truax, Lisa (Todd) Cooper, Lori (Scott) Cooper; best friend, Tony Moore; special friend, Diane Maddox; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Brendemihl, and sister, Tracy Brendemihl.

Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, at Wyoming Moose Lodge #763, 2630 Burlingame Ave. SW.

In memory of Troy and in lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Shriners Children’s Hospital or Wyoming Moose Lodge #763.
