Joseph Ugianskis of Leighton Township died Saturday. He was 78.

Born Feb. 18, 1939, in the country of Lithuania, he was the son of Juozas and Sofija. He was a member of the St. Therese Church in Wayland.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Ann Marie; his children Raymond Ugianskis, Chrissy Harnish, Jennifer (Jacob) Hoffman and Roy Ugianskis; ten grandchildren; siblings Romanas (Gene) Ugianskis and Grazina Ugianskis along with several nieces, nephews and extended relatives.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Caeser Ugianskis.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday, June 26, at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, 128 Cedar St., Wayland. A visitation prior to mass will be held at the funeral home beginning at 10 a.m. until departure for St. Therese Catholic Church. Interment will be in the St. Stanislaus Cemetery.

Joseph’s family will welcome relatives and friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 25, with a rosary at 3:45 p.m. at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, 312 N. Main St., Wayland.
