James Carl Balfoort, age 77, died after struggling with Parkinson’s for many years.

He is survived by his wife Susie; children Mary, Bruce, Michelle and Keith; grandchildren Ashley, Dawn, Evonne and Candace. He also had five great grandchildren, Renn, Malacai, Kyawna, Elijah, and Nehemiah. He is survived by his siblings, Kathy (Bill) TeHennepe, Sally (Vern) Burgess, Bill (Florence) Balfoort , and Dan (Marcia) Balfoort.

Nephew Gerry Balfoort preceded him in death.

Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at Dorr Baptist Church, 1504 142nd Ave, Dorr. Refreshments served afterwards with time to talk with the family.
