Barbara Jeanne Wrobleski, age 87, died Monday, June 21.
She was born Jan. 31, 1934. in Kalamazoo, and married Dale Billings and had seven children. Mr. Billings died June 26, 1962.
She was remarried on Oct 13, 1990, to Carl Wrobleski and took another child, Michael, under her wings.
Barb, an Allegan High School graduate worked for 25 years at Hopkins Public Schools as a bus driver. She devoted a great deal of time to Allegan County Historical Society.
She also was a member of the Watson Township Planning Commission and the Hopkins Library Library Board. She also served on many other committees and boards in the county.
She is survived by her husband Carl, brothers Bob, Jerry, Jim, Richard, and Dennis Billman and sister Patricia Weber. She is also survived by her children Dave Billings of Wayland, Dan and wife Becky Billings of Dorr, Dorothy and husband Duane Miller of Bridgman, Deb and husband Harley McCully of Cassopolis, Randy Billings and Carmen of North Carolina, Bruce and wife Sylvia Billings of Dorr, Beverly and husband Kyle Selby of Dorr, Michael and wife Margaret Wrobleski of Wisconsin; 18 grandkids, 22 great grandkids, and two great great grand kids.
