Hazel Pearl Powers Anderson was born Sept 8, 1920, in Ovine, Tenn, and died March 22 in Grand Rapids. Daughter of James Henry and Rebeecka Mandy Simpson Powers (deceased). Sh was pre-deceased by 11 siblings and step-daughter Lavada Burke and son Earl Anderson. She was the widow of Elvis Anderson.

She is survived by daughters Syble Armstrong-King of Alto and Josie Joyce Cavanaugh of Lakeland, Fla.
