William “Bill” Roe, age 84, died Monday, Dec. 31.

Bill served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. In his free time, he loved reading his Bible, sharing Jesus with others, vegetable gardening and hunting.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Rochelle Roe; children, Holly Toy, Ann (Chuck) Sharp, Robin (Gary) Scheib, Vicki (Greg) Graczyk, Valerie Beuschel, Rita (John) Arce, Merle (Barbara) Shoemaker; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Johanna Roe.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home – Wayland Chapel, 312 N. Main. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 4, at Grandville Bible Church, 4122 44th St. SW, with visitation from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Pastor Tom Couch will be officiating. Bill we be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery.

In memory of Bill and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Grandville Bible Church – Building Fund.
