Neola Marie (Trumbull) Martin, 84, died Tuesday evening, May 18, at her home in Martin.

Born Feb. 4, 1937, in Calhoun County, the daughter of Max and Dora Trumbull, she married James Martin on July 28, 1953.

Neola was a homemaker until her children became teen-agers and she went to work at the Johnson Sandwich Co. She and her husband opened Martin Tire in 1989 and she served as manager of bookkeeping and scheduling.

Neola was a band parent and worked concessions at sporting events. She played a lot of golf and she and Jim spent half their time living in Florida after retirement.

Surviving, besides her husband, are sisters Paula Kay and Linda Lou; children Rick (Lori) Martin, Debra (Daniel) Boniface, Randy (Christine) Martin and Donovan Martin; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren, and other family members and friends.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 22, at Martin United Methodist Church with luncheon to follow.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice, Allegan.
