Herman Jay Potter, age 75, died Sunday, April 19.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years Florence Potter; children Roger (Melody Sessions) Potter, Dan (Amy) Potter; grandchildren Jenna Potter, Trevor Potter, Tyler Potter and Alex Potter; sisters Christine (Marv) Vander Bee, Wilma Dingess, brother-in-laws Robert Kroll, Jack Brondyke, sister-in-law Mary DeJong; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Susie Potter; brother Arthur (Savannah) Potter; sisters Henrietta Zerfas, Betty Brondyke, Gertrude Kroll; brother-in-laws Robert DeJong, Donald (Julia) Westendorp.

Visitation with the family will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Wednesday, April 22, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home at 4330 18th Street, Dorr. MI. Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday April 23, with visitation one hour prior at Moline Christian Reformed Church, 4341 Chappell Ave., Moline,. Pastors John Ouwinga and James DeZeeuw will be officiating. Interment will be at Dorr Cemetery.
