Lucas Miner, age 30, died Thursday, July 12, as a result of a tragic car accident.

He will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Dennis and Roxanna Miner; siblings, Matthew (Amanda) Miner, Joshua Miner; nephew, Brayden Miner; niece Makayla along with many family members and friends.

Luke graduated from Wayland Union High School in 2005. He went to college for heating and cooling. He was currently employed at West Grand Service Company.

Luke had a heart of gold, an infectious smile. He enjoyed the outdoors, hiking, fishing, camping, and had a great love for animals. Most of all, he loved his family and friends.

Visitation with the family will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 16, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, 312 N Main, Wayland.  The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 17,  at United Church of Wayland with Pastor Bonnie Simerly officiating.  Interment will be at Elmwood Cemetery.
