Ruth Nederhood, 81, of Moline, died Wednesday, July 10.

Ruth is survived by her husband of 63 years, Don; children, Doug and Deb Nederhood, Judy and Steve Schreur, Laura and Steve Sytsma; grandchildren, Tara and Eric Johnson, Cody and Tara Nederhood, Maleah Nederhood and fiance, Caleb Voetberg, Derek and Michelle Schreur, Natalie and Tyce Tanner, Nicole and Jake DeHaan, Jacob and Nikki Sytsma, Jared and Anna Sytsma, Justin Sytsma, Hanna Sytsma; 11 great grandchildren with another due in August; brothers, Dale and Kay Siebelink, Larry Siebelink, Bob and Tracey Siebelink; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Elsie Siebelink, Darlene Siebelink, Annette Siebelink, Karen Siebelink, Dr. Joel and Mary Lou Nederhood, Pastor Jack and Debbie Vos, Joy and Lee Conklin, Eunice and Jerry Barthels, many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by five brothers: Howard and his wife Donna, Les, Ken, Roger, and Jack Siebelink, and a sister-in-law, Marilyn Siebelink.

All visitations and the funeral will be held at Friendship Christian Reformed Church, 190 100th St. SE, Byron Center. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. The service will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday, with Pastor Cal Compagner and Pastor Dan Kinnas officiating. Interment will take place at Winchester Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Friendship CRC for the Monroy Mission Project or to Finding Freedom Ranch.
