Gordon Ross Jurrians, age 75, of Wayland, died Thursday, May 20.

Gordon, a 1965 graduate of Wayland High School and a letter winner on the Wildcat football team, served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He retired after 30 years of work at General Motors.

His hobbies included golf, woodworking, motorcycle riding, hunting, fishing, and trapping.

He is survived by his wife, Pattie Jurrians; children Jennifer (Mike) Lenard, Cory (Julie) Jurrians, Bryan (Angie) Langworthy, Toby (Margaret) Langworthy; 10 grandchildren; and his four-legged friend, Sara.

He was preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Maxine (Irwin) Jurrians and siblings Jim Jurrians, Donald Jurrians, Ruth Van Dam and Carol Regan.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, 312 N. Main Street, Wayland. his funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 26, at the funeral home, with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Wayland Post (No. 7581) of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
