Kathleen J. Groth of Martin died Saturday, March 6, at Trillium Woods in Byron Center.

She was born Sept. 20, 1944, in Allegan, the daughter of Clifford and Lois (Sweet) Myers. Kathleen enjoyed reading, cooking, taking care of her family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She had attended Trowbridge Community Church.

On March 16, 1963, she married William Groth who died in 2017.

Surviving are her children, Mike (Sharon) Groth of Gobles and Michelle (Daniel) Wubben of Dorr; 9 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings, George Myers of Florida, Leslie Myers of Martin, Marion Myers of Holland and Lucille Harrington of Comstock along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant brother, Elton and siblings, Vernon Myers, Larry Myers, Eugene Myers, Bertha Miller and Irene Miller.

Friends may visit with Kathleen’s family starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 10, at the Trowbridge Community Church until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m., with Pastor David Youngs officiating. Burial will follow at Trowbridge Methodist Cemetery.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be seating for 25 friends in the church, masks and social distancing are required. Those unable to attend may listen in the parking lot via the FM transmission or watch the service on the church’s Facebook page.

Contributions in memory of Kathleen may be made to Trowbridge Community Church or Faith Hospice at Trillium Woods.
