
Reda Elaine Meyer, age 64, died Tuesday, Aug. 19.
She and her husband Clayton loved traveling out West, as well as riding their Harley together. They also enjoyed camping and meeting new friends throughout their travels. She loved her dogs, Jasper Jax and Dezzy Rae, who helped keep her company after Clayton’s passing.
Reda retired after 25 years from Steelcase, where she had many friends. She loved to meet up with them after they all retired. Spending time with her family and friends brought her the greatest joy.
She is survived by her father, Emerald Dodds; siblings Diane Jousma, Allan (Barb) Dodds, Robin Smith, Andrea (Pat) Hopkins; children Derrick Rademaker, Aaron (Cassie) Rademaker, Chad Meyer, Jodi (Mark) Whitcomb, Jill Meyer, Nate (Jill) Meyer; grandchildren Elijah (JoAnn) Rademaker, Isaiah Rademaker, Zeruiah Rademaker, Neveah Rademaker, Hendrik Rademaker, Hazel Rademaker, Cody (Alysse) Whitcomb, Kailee (Matt) Reiffer, Ethan (Kaela) Whitcomb, Mariah Meyer, Colton Meyer, Logan Meyer, Crew Meyer, Remy Meyer; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Reda was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Meyer; her mother, Joy Dodds; and sister, Ronda Dodds.
Visitation with friends and relatives will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home – Dorr Chapel, 4330 18th St. A celebration of Reda’s life will commence at 11 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 28, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Jones Cemetery in Dorr.
