Kenneth “Tom” Glascott, age 84, died Friday, March 15.
Kenneth served his country in the U.S. Army and was a volunteer fireman for the Hopkins Fire Department. Family was the most important part of his life. He loved to hunt and fish, and in his spare time, he loved to travel, camp, bowl, and play golf.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Glascott; children Jeff (Kelly) Glascott, Scott (Nancy) Glascott, Tamera (Brian) Baker, Dave (Kim) Martin, Don (Jamie) Martin, and Donna (Yehowash Raphael) Martin; 23 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leon and Hazel Glascott; sister, Mary Tuinstra; and son, Troy Glascott.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday March 21, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home in Wayland, 312 N. Main St. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 22, at Wayland United Methodist Church, 200 Church St., with visitation from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wayland United Methodist Church or the Wayland VFW.
