Charlotte Anne “Char” Sanok, age 60, died Tuesday, Dec. 11.

Char enjoyed watching birds, arts and crafts, crocheting, gardening, and baking. Most of all, Char loved her family and friends.

She is surived by her husband of 20 years, Tom; children, Jason McBride, Sean (Kari) Bickel; grandchildren, Jordyn McBride, Alan Bickel, Julie McBride, Kailyn Bickel; great-grandson, Casey Cashman; father, Larry Scheidel; siblings, Ed (Sue) Scheidel, Dianne (Bob) DeHaan, Karen (Jim) Uhen, Morris (Carol) Scheidel, Marty (Traci) Scheidel; sister-in-law, Debbie Sanok; many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Scheidel.

Visitation with the family will be from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16,  at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, Wayland Chapel, 312 N Main St. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 17, at United Church of Wayland, 411 E. Superior St., Wayland, with Pastor George Grevenstuk officiating.

In honor of Char, and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
