Connie DeVriendt age 63, died Thursday, May 16.

Connie enjoyed her pets, fishing, and spoiling all children, but most of all, she loved her family.

She is survived by her children, April Daniels and fiancée Robert Daniel; mother, Darlene Miller; grandchild, Jacob Blasdell; siblings, Kathy (Wil) Bard, Darla (Gary) Spoors, Marylee Scott (Stacey DeSpelder), Steve Miller, Lyle (Linda) Miller, Tim (Mary) Miller; sister-in-law, Lois DeVriendt; brother-in-law, Frank DeVriendt; her second “parents”, Judy (Jim) Simon who have generously helped Connie when she was unable to stay by herself. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis DeVriendt; father, Lyle Miller; brother, Louis Miller; grandparents Louis and Henrietta Holzgen, William and Mabel Miller.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, May 20, at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 9408 Wilson SW, Byron Center. Msgr. William Duncan will be presiding.

In honor of Connie, contributions may be made to Lacks Cancer Center and Research at Mercy Health St. Mary’s Hospital and Cancer Center, U of M in Ann Arbor.
