David C. Hendges, age 78 of Dorr, died Tuesday, Nov. 14.

He is survived by his children David Hendges and Cindi (Doug) Schram; 6 grandchildren, 17 great- grandchildren; his siblings Gary (Gail) Hendges, Judy (George) See and Roger (Jayne) Hendges.

He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Mildred Hendges; his sister Nancy Tolhurst, brother Bob Hendges, granddaughter Heather Mundwiler and longtime companion Harriet Hoyt.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am Monday at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, Wayland 312 Main St.  The family will receive relatives and friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, at the Wayland Chapel and Monday one hour prior to services Monday.
