Linda Brenner of Burnips died Sunday, Dec. 29.

Survivors include her husband and caregiver, Leo Brenner, who lived out their wedding vows that were spoken 60 years ago this past July 17; children Dan (Dawn) Brenner, Bonnie (Fred) Uhe, Beverly (Dan) Commons, and Dave (Vicky) Brenner; special grandchildren Jason (Pam), Sara, Katie, Zack (Kitty), Jennifer (Dan), Amanda, Fred Jr.(Ashley), Jamie, Josh (Ashley), Cody (Lauren), Dylan, Rachel (Calvin), Luke (Emily), Jessie (Danielle), Charity (Justin), Crystal (Chad), Ryan (Brittni), and Travis (Andrea); 25 great-grandchildren.

Also left to mourn her are her siblings Sally (Terry) Genther, Nancy (Carl) Parry, Susie Loew, and Bill (Vonda) Tubergen; former daughters-in-law Mary Brenner and Sally Cole; and many special friends with whom she loved to play cards.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Grace Tubergen, sisters Patti and Shirley, grandson Vinny, and countless other earthly family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.. Friday, Jan. 3, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 4125 18th St. Dorr. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4,  at St. Peter’s Lutheran, with visitation from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
