
Kenneth Dale Pasma, age 79,died Wednesday, Aug. 27.
Ken was a lover of the outdoors, enjoying motorcycle riding, but camping and fishing especially. He was always available to family and friends with a caring heart and hugs. He worked at Spartan Stores for more than 30 years.
He served in the National Guard during the 1960s and early ‘70s. Ken’s life was marked with generosity, thoughtfulness, and a strong faith in God. He is survived by his wife, Eveline “Elly”; sons Paul (Karen), Scott (Kari), Mark (Paula); sister, Sharon (Dennis); sister-in-law, Jane; sister-in-law, Mary; brother-in-law, Chris; daughter-in-law, Tonya; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents and his wife’s parents, as well as many brothers and sisters-in-law.
A celebration of Ken’s life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, with fellowship after, at Wayland United Methodist Church, 200 Church St., Wayland, with Rev. Edrye Maurer officiating.
In honor of Ken and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wayland United Methodist Church or Paws With A Cause.
