Lorna Mann, age 69, died Tuesday, Aug. 27.

Lorna, a wife, mother and friend, was known for her work as a kitchen designer and as a licensed builder. She was involved for 20 years with the Women’s Auxiliary of the Greater Grand Rapids Home Builders Association and served as national director.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Woody Mann; son, Scott Mann; her extended family, Rose and Ron Brown and their children, Jessica, Kayleigh, Conner and Rylee; siblings Alton, Nora, Joe, Lisa, and Tim; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Norris and Allene Embelton.

Visitation with the family will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, 4330 18th St., Dorr. Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, at Burnips United Methodist Church, 4241 30th St. with  Pastor Craig Van Beek officiating.

In honor of Lorna, contributions may be made to Burnips United Methodist Church.
