Our nation lost a fine warrior, a good man and a credit to his nation. Senior Noncommissioned Officers are the backbone of our national defense. 30 years of service is well above and beyond what is expected of any American. Do not mourn his passing but thank God each and every day men like Sergeant First Class Groters ever lived.

Thank you for your kind words. I am going to show this to my mother and siblings. We were all very proud of our father for his service. He was an amazing man and will be missed greatly.
