Scott Reil, died Wednesday, Oct. 31. He was 27.

Scott was a free spirit with a larger than life heart. He would always stand for what he thought was right. Scott’s shoulder was always there to lean on; whether family, friend, or stranger. Scott loved the outdoors, hiking, fishing, skateboarding, and snowboarding. Snowboarding led him to the mountains of Colorado, which created a love that could only be rivaled by that of which he got from his nephews.

Uncle Scott was the cool uncle who was always down to play or watch ridiculous amounts of cartoons

He is survived by his parents, Jim and Lora Reil; siblings, Matthew (Diana) Reil, Kelli (Mike) Gower, and Hilary (Patrick) Volz, grandma Doris Reil; nephews, Connor, Jimmy, Elias, Charles, Alexander, Brycen, and Kallen; Uncle Jay (Shannon) Reil, many other Aunts and Uncles; and his dog Lollie.

Funeral services have taken place. Memorial contributions may be made to Homes for our Troops in memory of Scott Reil.
