Jim “Jimbo Pro” Harris died Sunday, Dec. 8. He was 59.

Jimbo had a love for many things, including shopping especially for shoes, hats and T-shirts, even though he had enough of those items for everyone he knew. Another love was driving, whether it be his “blue racer” or his beloved semi-truck.  He knew the roads of America like the back of his hand.

Jimbo was larger than life, and had a story for every place one would go with him. Everyone who knew him heard of the legend known as “Jimbo Pro.” Husband, dad, papa – it didn’t matter – he made each of his family members feel loved and appreciated.

Jim will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, his “Bubbles” of 41 years, Sandra Harris; children Josh (Michele) Harris, Travis Harris, and Julia Harris; grandchildren Kaylee, Jordan, Dylan and Kyle; five step-grandchildren; father, Billy Harris; sister, Debbie (Ed) Clark; brothers Dan (Michelle) Harris and Michael Harris; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Charlotte Harris; brother, Mark Harris, grandmother, Verda Jones; uncle, John Cowels; cousin, Denise Cowels-Harris; and mother-in-law, Marie Griffith.

Visitation with the family will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home – Wayland Chapel, 312 N. Main St.  Services will be held at 11 a.m.  Monday, Dec. 16, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.
