Irwin T. Hazen, age 51, of Hopkins died Thursday, Oct. 29.

Irwin was born on April 3, 1964, in Allegan to Thomas and Sharon (Thompson) Hazen. Irwin was a hard worker and very mechanically inclined, being able to fix just about anything.

He is survived by his siblings Rose (Bob) Zerfas, Mary Brunink and Herb Hazen, many nieces and nephews and his beloved dogs Jack and Jake.

Irwin was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, Wayland. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, at the funeral home with burial following at Maplewood Cemetery in Hopkins.
