Dick Kroon, 97, died Tuesday, May 28.
He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Hazel Kroon; children Rick Kroon, Dallas (Jennifer) Kroon; grandchildren Jason (Suzanne) Popma, Jessica (Dan) Koorndyk, Travis (Maria) Popma, Lucas Kroon, Grace Kroon, Maya Kroon; great-grandchildren Brecken, Rogen, Lakelyn, Landon, River; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his children, Orrin Kroon and Sandy Popma; parents Dick and Gerty Kroon; older sisters Henrietta Hamm, Anne Lubben-Prins, Martha Brouwer, Adrianna Hamm-Swanson; brothers Jake Kroon, and Rev. John (Rena Mae) Kroon.
Services will be held at noon Monday, June 3, with an hour of visitation prior, at Zutphen CRC, 3223 40th Ave., Hudsonville.
In honor of Dick and in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hudsonville Christian School.
