stuart-whippleStuart Whipple, 44, of Hopkins, died unexpectedly Monday morning of a heart attack at work.

A 1991 graduate of Hopkins High School, he was born in July 1972, he was the son of Stephen and Sheryl (Shea) Whipple.He was an avid motorcycle enthusiast, as is his wife, Natasha. When it came to finding his own peace, Stuart would take to his bike and enjoy a nice ride, calling it his “wind therapy.” He felt free and easy when he was on his motorcycle.

Stuart had been working as a security guard for G4S Secure Solutions at the G.M. Delphi Plant in Wyoming. He enjoyed his job and the people he worked around. Not only did he help those at his workplace, but he was always there for his family and friends, not to mention anyone that seemed to be in need.

Surviving is Stuart’s wife, Natasha; his four children: Tyler Whipple, Matthew Reniss, Anthony Whipple and Jamie Whipple; his mother, Sheryl Whipple; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Whipple; his brother, Scott Whipple; Grandmother, Rose Whipple; Uncle Lynn Whipple; and cousin, Bobby.

A gathering for friends to meet with the family will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel.

Donations may be made to Stuart’s children in care of Natasha Whipple.
