David Finch, age 55, died Monday, Sept. 9.

David loved animals, fishing and watching the Tigers. He enjoyed learning about history, often watching and remembering many different historical facts. He loved being outdoors, either riding his bike or walking.

He is survived by his mother, Harriet Finch; sisters Pamela (Bruce) Lord, Margaret (Barry) Allen and Elizabeth Taylor; nieces Christina (James) Sipkema, Daniela (Gary) Allen, and Kira (Patrick) Allen; great-nieces and nephews Alexis, Kylee, Ryan, Layla, Ryker, Naomi, and Ava; and many extended relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Finch.

Visitation with the family will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 15, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, Wayland Chapel, 312 N. Main St. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 16, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home, with visitation from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.

David will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery, Orangeville Township.

In memory of David and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
