Dian K. Commans, 69 of Dorr, died Thursday, Aug. 27, at her home.

Born April 13, 1951, in Allegan, she was the daughter of the late Vern and Audra (Cooley) Brenner and the wife of Robert (Bob) Commans. Dian was a lady with a beautiful soul and shared herself fully with those she loved.

Spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren meant the world to her and she enjoyed cooking and baking for them. She also loved her cats, Miss Kitty and Squiggers. Her attentive nature and caring ways will be missed.

Along with her husband of 22 years, Bob, she is survived by her children, Darrell (Lori) Commans, Tracy (Curt) Saylor and Jason (Denise) Commans; 16 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 5 siblings, Beverly (Robert) Caywood, Chris (Bob) Thomas, Robert (Linda) Brenner, Vicki (Ed) Wedge and Kevin (Jayne) Brenner.

Dian was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jerry Brenner.

Friends may meet with the family from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, at Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel. A graveside service will be held at Lakeview Cemetery at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 1, with pastor Pat Binish officiating.
