iller, 47, of Wyoming, Mich., a native of Dorr, died Sunday, June 28, at Spectrum Meijer Heart Center, Grand Rapids.Born in Dorr on Aug. 21, 1967, Tammie was the daughter of Sandra Jean (Olthof) Jakey and Shreve Truman Jakey. Tammie married Kevin Martin Miller on Sept. 21, 1989.
She is survived by her husband and their two sons of Wyoming, Kyle Martin Miller (Amanda Baldwin) and Derrick Michael Miller; grandchildren Daymian and Halei; sister, Lori Jakey Wilson; brothers, Steve Gruis and Roger Jakey along with many nieces and nephews.
Tammie was a loving daughter, wife, mom, grandma, sister and aunt. Her children and grandchildren were the light of Tammie’s life and she loved spending time with them. She enjoyed playing video games on her computer and collecting Snow Babies and antique baby dolls.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 18, at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 5333 Clyde Park Avenue, SW, Wyoming. Lunch will follow and all are invited.
