Services set for Friday for Jim Hunderman, 61

James “Jim” August Hunderman, age 61, died Saturday, Dec. 28.

Jim loved being outdoors, from riding his Harley, hunting or snowmobiling, he rarely sat still. He worked as a concrete truck driver for many years, most recently for Waanders Concrete, and made many friendships and acquaintances throughout his time there.

Jim is survived by his son, Jordan (Andrea) Hunderman; grandson, Tucker; siblings Elizabeth (Win) Matteson, Richard (Laura) Hunderman, Jayne Spickenagel, Suzi Failing, Mark (Lorie) Hunderman; four-legged friend, Zeus; his sunshine, Reggie Medendorp; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Margaret Hunderman, and brother-in-law, Thomas Failing.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 2,at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services (Wayland Chapel), 312 N. Main St. Services will be held  at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3, with visitation one hour prior, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services (Wayland Chapel). Jim will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery in Wayland
