Doris Mae Reynolds, 94, of Hopkins, died Thursday, Oct. 29, at Allegan County Medical Care Community.

Born July 28, 1926 in Martin, she was the daughter of the late George A. and Florence (Kelly) Germain and was the wife of the late Lloyd W. Reynolds, who preceded her in death in 2007. Mrs. Reynolds had been a member of Hopkins United Methodist Church for many years. She had retired from TruHeat.

Mrs. Reynolds enjoyed sewing and knitting as well as spending time in her flower gardens. She also loved to play cards and dance. Her favorite pastime, however, was mowing her grass with her John Deere tractor.

She is survived by her children, Pam (Dick) Totten, Sandra (Wendell) Beard and Chuck (Chris) Reynolds; grandchildren, Robert, Kelli, Holli, Wende, Lance, Adam and Andy; nineteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Margie Youtzy, Pauline Hutchinson, Pat Lindsey and Jimmy Germain.

Services will be held privately. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Maplewood Cemetery.
