Shug Counseling Services in Wayland adds therapist

Amanda Cole is the newest therapist at Shug Counseling Services in downtown Wayland who will start with the service full time in May.

“From the moment we met Amanda, we were impressed by her bright intelligence and her effortless ability to simplify intricate ideas into concepts accessible for children,” a spokesperson said.

Specializing in play therapy, Cole offers expertise in supporting clients ages 8 and older, particularly those with neurodivergence and anxiety/depression.

“She is also passionate about empowering teens and young adults to cultivate resilience through various life transitions,” the spokesperson added.

Shug Counseling opened at 117 S. Main St. nearly a year ago.
