Restaurants as of Feb. 1 will be able to permit customers to come inside dine as long as the number is 25 percent of capacity or less. That poses an interesting challenge for the Auction House Cafe, just north of the city on Division. “We will only be able to seat 5 people at 25%,” explained co-owner Kim Miller Powers. “We will be doing call ahead seating, you can take a chance and just come in and if we have a seat you may have, but it will be best to call ahead, especially during busy times. I’m guessing that most of our business will still be take out.
“We are still required to sign people in for contact tracing so if you are dining in you will have to sign in. Dine-in will start at the Auction House Tuesday, Feb. 2. The tiny restaurant first opened for business in 1936.
