Allegan County Sheriff’s authorities said one suspect is in custody after a multi-county vehicle chase Saturday night.

Sheriff’s deputies reported that a car was speeding in the Wayland area just before 9:30 p.m. and they responded to the complaint. The suspect was apprehended just after 10 p.m. near the intersection of Rogers Ln Avenue southwest and 26th Street southwest in Wyoming.

No information was provided about what prompted the motorist to drive at such a high speed. Multiple law enforcement agencies responded.
