The Michigan State Police Emergency Management Division will conduct a Statewide Tornado Drill at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 27. Allegan County Emergency Management applauds this effort and encourages everyone to participate in this drill as availability permits.

Allegan County will not be activating its All-Hazards Outdoor Warning Systems, and instead will follow its monthly testing cycle, to prevent any confusion.  Many TV and radio broadcasters will also participate in the test, with the activation of the Emergency Alert System (EAS) informing citizens about what to do during a weather emergency.

The Allegan County All-Hazards Outdoor Warning System is activated on the fourth Friday of each month at 11 a.m. am to ensure that it is operating correctly.
