Tornado warnings sounded all over Allegan County just before 1:30 p.m. Saturday as funnel clouds were sighted in Bangor and Fennville. The tornado was reported moving north and it was reported to have touched won near Hamilton and later multiple tornadoes were reported on the west side of Grand Rapids, with power outages and heavy damage. Some folks in the Moline area posted pictures on Facebook of damage in the wake of the storms, but this area was spared the brunt of the strongest raging thunderstorm this summer.
