Hopkins High School alums Lee and Mary Swainston have been presented with a special outstanding service award by the Hopkins FFA and Comer Skinner. The Swainstons have been ardent Hopkins FFA boosters for many years and Mary, longtime FFA treasurer, often has driven the school bus to transport the students to their competitions and festivals.
