Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
6 graham crackers crushed
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 – 4 ounce – chocolate bars of choice
1 – 7 ounce jar – marshmallow cream
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cookie layer mix: In softened butter, mix together both the white and brown sugars adding in the egg and vanilla. Now stir in the remaining ingredients, flour, baking powder, salt along with the crushed graham crackers.
Cookie top layer: Press 1/2 of the cookie layer mix into an 8×8 parchment paper lined baking dish. Remove by lifting the parchment paper and set aside.
Cookie base layer: press the other 1/2 of the mix into the bottom of the lightly greased 8×8 baking dish for the base.
To assemble, layer on top of the pressed in base the chocolate bars and peanut butter then place the set aside cookie mix top layer on by flipping it over and peeling off the parchment paper. Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown. Remove from oven.
Approximately 1 to 3 hours later the bars will be warm and gooey, after 4 to 6 hours the bars will be set. When ready to your liking, top with the marshmallow cream and place under an oven broiler until toasty brown. Enjoy!
