As someone said this morning, “This not supposed to be what they mean when they talk about April Showers.” It’s April 17 and some Wayland school district parents suggested schools should have been closed because of icy road conditions. Shown here in a photo from Michelle Miller-Spicer is traffic backup on 142nd Avenue this morning because of an accident north of 135th Avenue between 12th and 13th Streets. The other picture, from Aaron Wissner, is of the Wayland Middle School parking lot and his trusty Prius, with him noting the Wildcats’ first middle school track meet is supposed to be Wednesday.
