Three Leighton cadets pass firefighter academy exams

The Allegan County Firefighter Academy held practical exams Saturday, the end result of hundreds of hours of classroom work, studying and practical skills on their own. All three Leighton Township Fire Department cadets passed. “We are proud and thankful for their professionalism and dedication to the community!” said Chief Matt Weston. The three cadets were Brian Bollone, April Rogers and Thomas Himmelright.
