The Gun Lake Tribe, in partnership with the Michigan DNR, Allegan County Parks, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Kraai Well Drilling, Great Lakes Restoration Initiative, Gun Lake Protective Association and Gun Lake Improvement Board, recently installed three CD3 Waterless Cleaning Systems at Gun Lake. Two are located at the Yankee Springs Recreation Area and one at the Allegan County Boat Launch.These stations are intended to help boaters to clean, drain, dry and dispose- key actions to help prevent the spread of aquatic invasive species. The CD3 stations include a wet-dry vacuum, an air blower and other cleaning tools.
