The American Red Cross will conduct a blood drive from noon to 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, at the United Church of Wayland, 411 E. Superior St.
There is a shortage of blood for a variety of reasons, including the recent spate of inclement weather. Particularly needed are B-negative and O-negative types.
Those who are at least 17 years old, in reasonably good health and haven’t given blood in the last 45 days are eligible.
