
Both the Hopkins boys’ and girls’ track teams dominated three O-K Silver Conference opponent in a quad meet at Godwin Heights Wednesday.
The Vikings defeated host Godwin, Grandville Calvin Christian and Comstock Park.
The domination was clearly the result of Hopkins’ depth in almost all events.
A summary of the Hopkins boys’ scoring:
Brayden Harnish, 100-meter dash, 11.92 seconds. Second in 200, 23.57 seconds. Alexander Chavez third and Jacob Helder fourth.
Jacob Helder, first in 400-meter run, 53.32.
Freshman Kash Moored second in 800 and second in 1600.
Jack Estelle first in 3200-meter run, a minute and 25 seconds faster than runner-up.
Clayton Kerber first in 110-meter high hurdles, 16:01. Freshman Luke Klinge second. Kerber first in 300-meter hurdles, 42.81.
Brayden Harnish, Gage Martin, Zac Wierenga and Alexander Chavez first in 400-meter relay, 46.14.

Josh Maule was second in shot put at 43-5, but won the discus with a throw of 128-01.
Dexter Graczyk second in high jump at 5-10.
Luke Klinge 12-0 in pole vault. Graycin Ingle was second at 10-0.
Parker Warner first in long jump at 20-01.
For the girls in the meet, heavy scoring came in bunches.
Riley Homrich first in 100 at 12.94 seconds. Ellarie Baugh third.
Ava VanderVeen first in 400 with a time of 1:07.83.
Lillian Dewey second in 800-meter run, Peyton Harshberger third. Lillian Dewey first in 1600 at 5:59.34.
Kambria Moored second in 100-meter high hurdles, 16:21.
Moored then came back to win 300 intermediate hurdles in 48.21 seconds. Andrea Brower third.
Navaya Ingle. Kambria Moored, Ellarie Baugh and Riley Homrich first by one-hundredth of a second over Godwin at 51.06 second in the 400-meter relay.

Keilah Bonga first in shot put, 31-06. Olivia Ezell second. Bonga first in discus at 100-03. Leah Schumacher second and Clair Fifelski third..
Peyton Harshberger second in high jump at 4-10.
Ellarie Baugh took the pole vault at 7-0 and she won the long jump at 16-08.
