Hopkins long distance runner Jack Estelle has signed with NCAA Division 2 Wayne State University to continue his running career.
Estelle turned in a decent 16:33.1 on the course of the MHSAA state meet, but found himself to be the 75th individual to cross the finish line. The years before he had a similar fate in turning in a quality time, but not making the top 30.
Estelle also has won numerous honors in the 16-meter and 3200-meter races in track.
