Paul J. Hazen, age 77, of Shelbyville died Tuesday, Feb. 2, at the Green Acres Assisted Living Center.
Paul was born March 18, 1938 in Shelbyville to Lyle and Lola (Main) Hazen. Paul was a graduate of Wayland Union High School and spent his life farming in the area. He enjoyed the Lions and Tigers win or lose, cars, trucks and tractors.
Paul is survived by; siblings Joyce (Frank) Kolter, Ruth Barckley and Esther (Don) Cameron along with one niece and five nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Family will receive family and friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at the Kubiak-Cook Wayland Chapel, where services will be held at 3 p.m. A private interment will take place at Maplewood Cemetery in Hopkins.
