Lisa Gayle Pou, age 49, of Wayland, died unexpectedly Saturday, Feb. 25.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Clautia Pou, Shayla Pou, Monique Pou, Breyala Pou, Alisia Pou, Niya Pou; her daughters’ dad, Rudy Pou; her grandchildren, Kenyeon and Karmiah Anding; her parents, John and Betty Cousins; her grandmother, Vergene Gettings; her sisters, Darlene (Steve) O’Connor, Melinda Kimble; and many relatives and friends.

Lisa loved being a mom to all her girls and wanted nothing more than to make sure they were happy.  She was always the life of the party with her big smile and warm presence.  Lisa brought joy and laughter to everyone she knew.

A time for relatives and friends to visit with Lisa’s family will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Services in Wayland, 312 N. Main St.

In honor of Lisa, contributions may be made to University of Michigan Health System – Kellogg Eye Center.
