
Rochelle Lee Roe, age 87, died Tuesday, Jan. 20.
Born on April 4, 1938, in Plainwell to Paul and Virginia Brocker, Rochelle lived a life marked by dedication, faith, and love for her family.
A longtime attendee of Grandville Bible Church, she found great joy and strength in her church community. Rochelle enjoyed a fulfilling career as an accountant, where her precision and integrity shone through. Rochelle’s biggest accomplishment was the life she built with her cherished family.
Rochelle is survived by her children, Robin Scheib, Vicki (Greg) Graczyk, Valerie (Bob) Bergstrom, Rita (John) Arce, and Merle (Barb) Shoemaker; stepdaughters Holly Toy and Ann (Chuck) Sharp; brother, Hal (Kirstine) Brocker; sisters Sandy Czichos, Pam (Ken) Merren, Gail Lundstrom, Debbie (Toad) Logan; 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren (with one expected in February), and two great-great-grandchildren; as well as her lifetime friend, Marge Solomon.
She was predeceased by her husband, William R. Roe; parents Paul and Virginia Brocker; stepfather, Jim Carpenter; son-in-law, Gary Scheib; brother-in-law, Mike Czichos; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation with family and friends will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, at Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home (Wayland Chapel), 312 N. Main St., Wayland. Funeral dates and times are to be determined; please check back for updates.
